Not able to view Chinese (Unicode) Font in Windows 7

If you encounter that all your unicode character shown as block in Windows 7, below maybe able to solve your problem.

  • deleting the file C:\Windows\System32\FNTCACHE.DAT and restart your Windows 7. This are the Font Cache file, it will regenerated after you reboot your PC.

Problem playing RMVB File in K-Lite Codec 6.5

If you received error message “RealAudio COOK 44100Hz stereo” while playing certain RMVB file, followings will be able to help.

  1. Go to this site http://www.mplayerhq.hu/design7/dload.html
  2. Download the “Binary Codec Packages” for Windows x86
  3. Unzip all the file to a temporary location
  4. Copy followings files to your Windows folder:
    - cook.dll
    - drv33260.dll
    - drv43260.dll
    - pncrt.dll
    - sipr3260.dll
  5. Done
